About Jaime

My Approach to This Work

I have seen, again and again, the difference it makes when someone learns to respond to themselves with compassion and empathy instead of shame and guilt. When we are harsh with ourselves, we tighten. We overperform. We overfunction. We disconnect from our own needs. But when we begin to meet ourselves with steadiness and understanding, something shifts. There is more room to breathe, to reflect, to choose differently. I believe deeply in the transformative power of that shift. That belief is not abstract for me. It’s woven into my own story.

My Path to Becoming a Therapist and Coach

My journey into this work was shaped by both personal experience and professional growth. Like many of the women I work with, I encountered my own shadows — the complicated, unexamined, and sometimes painful parts of myself. Turning toward those places with honesty and compassion changed everything. It taught me that healing is not about perfection. It’s about courage. It’s about curiosity. It’s about choosing not to abandon ourselves when things feel uncomfortable or uncertain.

Doing that internal work grounded me. It clarified my purpose. And it deepened my commitment to helping others move through life transitions, relational challenges, identity shifts, and seasons of uncertainty with steadiness rather than self-criticism. It is a privilege to sit with clients as they navigate those moments.

What It’s Like to Work With Me

When we work together, judgment is not part of the room.

My role is not to fix you. It is to help you understand yourself more clearly.

I create a space where you can be honest about what feels heavy, confusing, or unresolved — without needing to perform strength. We will explore your patterns, your relationships, your roles, and the internal narratives that have shaped how you move through the world.

Sometimes we will sit with difficult emotions. Sometimes we will find humor in the complexity of being human. Often, we will slow down enough to notice what has been driving you beneath the surface.

Our work is collaborative. You know your lived experience better than anyone. I bring clinical structure, insight, and reflection. Together, we identify what is no longer serving you, strengthen your self-trust, and build responses rooted in clarity rather than shame. You do not have to hide here. You do not have to carry everything alone.

Staying Current and Grounded

I am a committed lifelong learner who actively pursues advanced training and continuing education to support my clients thoughtfully and responsibly.

My work integrates mental health and physical well-being, with particular attention to how stress, trauma, and identity experiences shape both mind and body.

I practice from an intersectional, trauma-informed perspective. I am mindful of the ways culture, gender, family systems, and social context influence our stories. My goal is always to offer care that is reflective, informed, and deeply human.
